Legal
These Organizer Terms govern your use of Found's Organizer Portal to list events. They are separate from, and in addition to, Found's member Terms of Service if you also hold a member account. By signing in to the Organizer Portal, applying for an organizer account, or listing an event, you agree to these terms.
You are an independent event organizer. You are not Found's employee, agent, partner, or venue. Listing your event on Found creates no joint venture and gives neither of us authority to act for the other.
Found displays your event to its members and shows you the number of members who RSVP. Found does not sell tickets, take payment for your events, staff them, or promise attendance. Any fees for listing or promotion, if ever introduced, will be agreed separately in writing.
You are solely responsible for your event: its safety, legality, permits, licenses, insurance, venue, accessibility, staffing, ticketing, refunds, and the conduct of your staff. Ticket sales happen on your own or your ticketing platform's site under your terms, and Found is not a party to those transactions.
Everything you post about an event must be accurate and kept current: date, time, venue, price, age restrictions, and what attendees should expect. If an event is cancelled or materially changed, update or remove the listing promptly. Found may correct, decline, or remove any listing.
Found is a sapphic-centered community. Events listed on Found must be welcoming to that community and must comply with all applicable law, including anti-discrimination law, and with Found's Community Guidelines.
You see RSVP counts, never member identities or contact information, unless a member separately connects with you. You will not attempt to identify, collect, or solicit members' personal information through the portal or at events beyond what an attendee freely gives you herself.
You grant Found a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display the event information and images you submit, for operating and promoting the listing on Found. You confirm you have the rights to whatever you upload.
You will indemnify Found against third-party claims arising from your event or your listing, including personal injury at the event, to the extent caused by your event, your content, or your breach of these terms. Found's total liability to you is capped at the greater of $100 or the fees you paid Found in the prior 12 months, to the maximum extent the law permits. Nothing here limits liability the law does not allow limited.
Either of us can end this relationship at any time. To close your organizer account, email help@foundsocialclub.com and we will deactivate it. If you have never listed an event, we can delete the account entirely; if you have, we deactivate it instead so your past event listings keep their history, and the account can be reactivated if you return. Found may decline any organizer application at its discretion, and may suspend or remove organizer accounts or listings at its discretion, with an email explaining why when practical. Sections 3, 6, 7, and 8 survive the end of this relationship.
These terms are governed by California law, and any dispute arising from them will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new date and note the change in the portal; continuing to list events after an update means you accept it.
